Parenthood

I have long admired the fillmores.. elsie's kindness and sweetness, josh's gentle, humble spirit as he leads the family & our bible study, and their little one, baby Reese who is filled with chubbiness + cuteness.. Tim and I have the honour of calling them friends, although family would perhaps describe the kinship better. We spent a few hours with them in their home, trying to take picture of Reese but Reese wasn't having it.. so we took pictures of parenthood instead.. but these, these are so much better. real moments, un-staged, honest memories.. we are beautiful even when things aren't pretty. 

Pictures below are in black and white.. it tells story and the love his parents have for him. This session is an incredible gift for Reese to remember this time with his parents, he doesn't know how many nights his parents have gone without sleep... so our hope that we would be able to capture this enormous love in photograph.
