Baby Mason
Tim had an opportunity to shoot one of his good friend's (Chris Mason) newborn a month ago, it was his very first shot with a baby, we had planned this photo shoot a few weeks before the baby was born. I had a lot of fun watching tim and the parents trying to calm the baby from crying, tried to pose him, made him smile.. Tim grew up with Chris together, they have known each other for years, it was really an honour for Tim to be able to shoot his friend's son. My first meeting with Sabrina (Chris' wife) was at the church about 2 years ago, they had a little reception for their wedding for friends and family before they moved to Ontario. We didn't get to talk as much at that time but then they decided to move back to New Brunswick a few months ago before the baby was born, I got to know her better and she is incredibly sweet. I had a chance to go for a coffee a couple weeks before the baby was born, and she said she got a permission from Chris to tell me what was her baby name going to be after i tried guessing a couple dozen names from the Bible from our previous meeting :p, i felt pretty special :) we had a good time and a good talk at our coffee meeting, i asked her if she is nervous and ready for Caleb, if she is ready to bear all the pain from giving birth, she told me she is very nervous but she can't wait meet him & she knows it's going to be very painful but God design our body like that so He will make it bearable, it's all in God's hand, She and Chris have been praying about it a lot.
Psalm 139:13 "For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. i praise you because i am fearfully and wonderfully made; you works are wonderful."
it gives me so much comfort when i think about one day a baby growing in my belly. I guess i am just a stressball by nature but God surely gave me grace in giving me my very kind, patient and forgiving husband that holds me and grounds me at the end of every day. :)
thanks Chris and Sabrina, for giving us (mostly Tim, I was just there to be Tim's supporter) the honour to take pictures of Caleb. I promise you that I will be waiting anxiously for the second baby to be born so Tim can document all of his/her adorableness as well (hint, hint) :)
Caleb was 6 weeks old & all pictures are taken by Tim
Enjoy! :)
